Welcome to my blog! I cannot remember a time when I did not want to be a teacher.  I love to learn and I love to help others learn.  2019-2020 is my third year teaching at Lovinggood and I am so happy to be a part of the Lovinggood family.  I teach 6th grade AC (Advanced Content) Social Studies.

Lovinggood Middle School is a large public middle school in Georgia.

Who are we?

6th grade AC Social Studies classes who will spend the year learning geography, history, government, and economics of several countries, continents, or regions of the world.

Who is the teacher?

Mrs. Chafin!  I am a 6th grade Social Studies teacher who loves the connections that we can make to everything in Social Studies.  In my free time, I like to read and either go to or dream about going to Walt Disney World.   In class, I like to talk about history and social issues.
