We reviewed the Latin America Physical Features again today, and watched an introductory video to our study of Latin America, AC classes completed error analysis sheets and On-Level classes completed Cloze notes.

Wednesday, 3/28
We reviewed the Canada Unit Test today – again, great job from most of you! Remember to check the Retake Opportunities Page here on the blog for information about that.
3rd and 6th period students who needed to re-took the Canada Government Quiz.
We got some background information on the physical features of Latin America and reviewed the features on the maps students are creating.
There will be a Latin America Physical Map Quiz on Friday, 3/30.
Homework – begin studying for your Physical Map Quiz. A completed map and a Quizlet will be available tomorrow.
Tuesday, 3/27
Canada Unit Test was today. Scores were outstanding for almost everyone.
Following the test, students began work on a physical features map of Latin America. This is NOT homework, we will finish it tomorrow.
3rd and 6th period students who did not score a 100 or an 88 on the Canada Government Quiz on Friday, 3/23, will retake that quiz tomorrow. Please be aware that this is because a majority of those classes did not score well.

We reviewed the study guide for your Canada Unit Test tomorrow. Use it, and your Canada’s Government and Comparing Governments – Canada, UK and Australia sheets along with this Quizlet to help you prepare.
3rd and 6th period have students who will retake the Canada’s Government quiz on Wednesday, March 26. We reviewed this information today as well. Focus on studying for the Unit Test tonight, and prepare for the quiz tomorrow night.
EVERYONE needs to remember that in a DEMOCRACY of any kind (parliamentary or presidential), the PEOPLE have the POWER because they vote for their leaders.
Also remember the difference between a Federal Government System and a Unitary Government System.
