Unit Test 4 – Conflict in Europe is TOMORROW!

If you have a device that you know will work to use the iRespond web app, and it’s okay with your parents/guardians that you bring it to school, please bring it to class tomorrow for the test.

3rd period did not get to review the study guide or the crossword puzzle – because we were so far behind in content that you needed for your test tomorrow.  No worries – answers are linked here, and you should double check what you’ve worked on.  Also check out the other links which will be helpful for studying.

AC Classes (1st, 2nd, 6th, & 7th) reviewed everything and played review games.  Please use the links to double check and to review/study for your test.

You will be able to use Quizizz without downloading an app of any kind.  Good luck!  I WILL know if you used it, and I hope everyone tries.  I did not create this quiz, and it may include some information you don’t need for the test, but it’s a great review.

 

AC classes (1st, 2nd, 6th, & 7th periods) all finished up the Cold War watched a Brainpop on Adolf Hitler and took a quiz on that Brainpop today.  Some classes have reviewed their study guide and Conflict in Europe crossword puzzle. Others will go over this tomorrow and do more review in class.

3rd period still needs to look at and discuss the Iron Curtain, Berlin Wall, and Cold War, and will also review study guide and crossword puzzle tomorrow.

1st, 2nd, and 6th periods talked about the Treaty of Versailles and Worldwide Depression today, and 1st and 6th finished the whole-classroom rounds of the National Geographic Bee.

3rd and 7th periods reviewed the Russian Revolution today and progressed on the National Geographic Bee.

DBQ Essay grades will be entered as a summative assessment very soon.  If your grade is not what you may have hoped, there will be an opportunity for re-writes after the break.

Today 1st, 2nd 3rd, and 6th periods finished up the Russian Revolution and answered questions for the preliminary rounds of the National Geographic Bee.

I was planning to share the WWI video we watched Tuesday – but the file is too large.

We will also finish the preliminary rounds of the National Geographic Bee.  We should be able to come up with a winner from each class, and after the break all of the class winners will compete against each other to be a winner from Mrs. Chafin’s class, who will go on to compete with winners from the whole school!

Hope you enjoyed the Performance today.  It was a lot of fun!

In class we finished talking about Trench Warfare and got to various points on the Russian Revolution in all AC classes except 7th, who I did not see today.  (1, 2, 6)  On-level still needs to finish up Trench Warfare so we can move forward.

We watched the WWI video today, where we learned even more new information regarding the war.  We have begun going through the powerpoint on WWI as well.  We are briefly looking at what happened during the war and what ended the war.

Tomorrow, I will not see 7th period.  This means that you must be ready to catch up on Thursday.  We will be talking about the Russian Revolution and the Treaty of Versailles.
